Gentle grasping . . .

We cannot grasp the water,
Water is to be cupped with held fingers –
Gently, preciously.

We cannot grasp the water,
Water is to be held with open palms –
Gently, preciously.

The same is true for both
the heart of the water
and the heart of the person.
