God of the in-between time. . . .

 

Let us pray:
God of the Seasons, God of in-between time, we are walking into mystery. 
We face the future, not knowing what the days and months will bring to us
or how we will respond. 

Be courage and compassion in us as we journey. 
May we welcome all who come our way. 
We thank you for the gift of being able to rise each day
with the assurance
of your walking
through the day with us. 

So may there always be a little light in our darkness. 
May there always be a little faith in our doubt.
May there always be a little joy in our sorrow.
May there always be a little life in our dying.
May there always be a little hope in our sadness.
May there always be a little courage in our fear.
And may there always be a little slow in our hurry.

God of the Seasons, God of in-between time,
deepen our faith to see all of life through your eyes
and we praise you now and forever.
